Stay away from Jawitz Properties

Good day,

I would like to take a minute and inform you of my experience with Jawitz Bloemfontein and Heidi van der Walt. My name is marius stander and i am a candidate attorney at vwp attorneys. On the 1st of july a went to view a property that was marketed by Jawitz and Heidi Van Der Walt.

Immediately after viewing the property i informed heidi of my intention to rent te property. She then informed me that the property will be painted the next week.

On the 9th i asked Heidi if it would be possible that i could move in earlier. She confirmed that i could move in on the 19th. I however later informed her that i would only move in on the 26th. After again confirming multiple time that this is in order se again confirmed. I proceeded with arraignments and payments in order for a company to move all my stuff, a company to deliver my new furniture and installation of other items. However on monday afternoon the 22nd, 3 days before i have to move in Heidi informed me that this will no longer possible.

Now i have to arrange alternative accommodation as i already gave notice at my previous property. I have to arrainge storage for all my furniture and now have double moving expenses.

All she had to say in reply is that it is not her problem.

I am considering legal action.
