Jawits dont care attitude

Spoke to the Principal of Brakpan Jawitz, CJ Vogel, about his tenants renting a house from them. Partying till 2am in the mornings, and telling us, if we dont like it we should move.

We appraoched Jawitz Brakpan on previous occassions as well. During the course of this week, we phoned CJ, and he said he cant anything if they dont want to listen, he also said they are moving soon anyways. We said he must as he is the rental agent. He rep****, No he cant do anything. I said I am going to complaint at the rental tribunal if he doesn't want to help. He then rep****: Well report me to the rental tribunal. He has a pathetic way of treating people and not willing to assist in any way.

Exactly what I am going to do, will be taking it up with Rental Tribunal and Estate Agencies Affairs Board .. As Im typing this message they still have loud music, keeping everyone awake, and being spitefull at shouting... this between 12 and 1 am in the morning.

Dear Johan, We have noted your frustrations and have feedback from our Brakpan office as follows: On the 4th of September following your previous communication with CJ Vogel, a letter of complaint was sent to the tenant via email, which CJ personally hand delivered to the tenant as well. The Tenant then informed CJ that she had notified neighbours regarding a prearranged social gathering for the 7th of September (this past weekend) that could not be cancelled on short notice. On inspection of this property its clearly visible that their outside entertainment area is in close proximity to your property bedrooms. A further letter will be sent to this tenant regarding this past weekend’s conduct. We have confirmation that the tenants lease will not be renewed. Regards, Jawitz Properties Head Office
