Disappointing experience with Jawitz Properties

Our experience with Jawitz Properties during the purchase of our home was disappointing to say the least.

We are now selling the property, just nine months after purchasing it, and have incurred almost R30,000 in costs to address electrical and gas compliance issues that were brought to our attention during the selling process. Nothing was mentioned during the purchase process by Jawitz who ensured us that everything is in order.

We were further very disappointed with the level of communication and support we received from the agents. We would encourage prospective buyers to independently verify the property's approved building plans and obtain confirmation of all relevant electrical and gas compliance requirements before finalising a purchase and do not trust Jawitz to take care of that.

Based on our experience, we would be hesitant to use Jawitz Properties again.
