Very bad treatment my family and I have received from Jawitz. Granted, because my partner gets paid late, we've always paid our rent and was upto date. However, Jawitz would always *******ly cuts off our electricity before the 5th day of the month (So grace period doesn't apply to them). Got tired of the treatment and got a court order to reinstate our electricity - which they didn't even contest because they knew they are in the wrong and abusing their power. We suffered loss of income during that period as my husband works from home. Recently we have been harassed by managemen, coming to the house at night ordering us to vacate. We are actuallyfed up and said we needed a month to secure a place that is also closer to the kids' schools for easy commute, but they bluntly rejectedour request. Followed by letters from their "lawyers" giving us only 3 days to vacate, mind you the numbers on the letterhead of their "lawyers" don't go through and the law firm turns out to be a furniture shop. Very ***** business practice. Our shared community lights and water bill were tweaked and higher than neighbour's bills, when we questioned that we got ignored and demanded we pay that bill, hence our electricity got cut off.
