Apartment leakage
I rent property from Jawitz properties and the unit above mine in leaking to my unit and as a result I don't have light as the wires are not wet from the leakage. I reported this to Yolandi and she refuses to help saying it's my responsibility to get help. I told her that I've already went upstairs and there is no one there. Isn't it their responsibility to source the Body corporate or caretaker to try and find a solution as I am their customer. Everytime I deal with her and her manager Bonolo I get bad service. This is very frustrating as it's still leaking. May you please help. Thank you. Nondu

The events of the weekend were unfortunate and we are acutely sympathetic to your predicament. Whilst the body corporate were not available on their landline over the weekend, our staff redirected you to the appropriate trustee in an effort to find a resolution. In this particular situation the source of the leak was in the unit above yours; making it a body corporate or 3rd party issue and thus beyond the full reach of our control.
In an effort to validate that the leak is in fact emanating from the unit above yours; we have contacted you so that we can send our contractor to the property. Following this assessment we will confirm our findings with the body corporate.
