Repairs / servicing issue from midrand branch
In summary, my car came into the dealership in early dec, for non starting. After some tests the vehicle was passed back to me with them confirming that everything was fine. At this time vehicle was under motorplan.

A couple days later I went to kzn and had to call a jumpstart at least on 4 separate days using insurance companies, to the point of me buying a battery starter pack.

Brought the vehicle back to the same dealership in Jan 2015 after the holidays and after looking into the problem, they now figured that the alternator was not charging the battery and a new alternator and battery was required.

My question is why this was not picked up in Dec when the vehicle came in for the issue initially.
Now in Jan, my mileage went over 100000 which meant I was out of motorplan hence the dealer was quick to provide an invoice for around R11000 for replacing the alternator and a new battery.

I got my car back this past sat after 5 weeks and paying them R8500
Dealer said to take it up with landrover SA.
