Refund my deposit !
I placed an order for a Brand new Defender last year June from JLR UMHLANGA and paid a deposit with finance in place . The brand had an issue and did not have stock and we had to wait for another vehicle to be built . When the new car was ready the finance had to be reapp**** for but this obviously would take time . To hold the vehicle the Salesman asked me to pay in a further deposit which i did .
The bank has since paid them but now 7 months later the dealer is making excuse after excuse to return my R230000 deposit .
It is absolutely disgraceful . This is why Jaguar is failing worldwide . Will never support this brand ever again .

09 Aug 2026, 13:39No response to date . Have reached out to the dealer and they advise they have no numbers or contact details for JLR South Africa and they work through a portal system . Now i will have to hand this to my attorneys . I am appalled that such a multi-national brand conducts business in this fashion and will never encourage any person to purchase a Range Rover for the fear of being ****** .
