Recall Land Rover - Oil Pump

My Land Rover Defender was taken to the dealer in Vereeniging, in October 2015, for a factory recall concerning oil pump replacement. In early November, less than 2 weeks and 1,000 km later oil was found in the water.<br> The car is just over 3 years old and only done 41 000km. Landrover would not assist and I had to get it repaired privately and refuse to assist with the cost despite a technical bulletin on this topic:<br> \Technical Bulletin released on 22 Aug 2014<br> LTB00564v3 - Engine Oil In Coolant<br> <br> CONDITION SUMMARY:<br> Situation: The customer may report that the engine loses power and is overheating. Investigation reveals that engine oil is evident in the coolant expansion tank. This version has been issued for a change to the Parts Required.<br> Cause: Vehicles to vin 444246 erosion of the engine oil cooler due to contamination in the engine coolant system. Vehicles from vin 444247 root cause is the gasket between the oil cooler and casting not fitted correctly from manufacture. Suggested Customer Concern Code - MF4. etc...<br> Landrover SA should have dealt with the gasket problem at the same time. <br> Land Rover appears not to care and don't respond to my recompense for their product failure."
