Poor service and experience

Please note that I booked my vehicle (2015 Discovery sport) in for a service last Tuesday at Landrover Westrand. I was told that my vehicle was due for the service in April this year. Due to the Covid and lockdown, I was not able to take my vehicle in for the service and asked about a grace period I did not reach the required KMs in any event and was told that I should have brought it in by August 2020 at the latest. I now had to pay in an amount of R2415.00 for a 365 point check to reinstate my motor plan. I disputed the fact with the dealership and the service manager who would not budge. My motor plan will expire on 20th October in any event but I still had to pay this amount in order to service my vehicle I find this extremely unfair as: Landrover did not contact me to advise me of the grace period and that I had to bring my vehicle in before the end of August I did not even reach the mileage that was required for the service I had brought my vehicle to the dealership twice within the last 12 months before last week and surely this should count for something I now had to pay in the R2415 to reinstate the motorplan for that service and a month? Also complained on the brakes and the noise of the Diesel vehicle and they advise that it is fine and in order. I could not get a full report on the vehicle status. Please note that this is really not acceptable
