No Sense of urgency

Email date 8th January 2020: I purchased a new 2019 Range Rover Evoque at the beginning of June 2019. A few weeks later the car gave me an airbag alarm. At the time I was advised to urgently bring the car in for repairs. The car was tested and nothing was fixed as they informed me that there was nothing physically wrong. A few days later the doors of the car stopped working. The car was towed in for repair and this time the battery was replaced and was assured that the issue is now resolved. Not long after the alarm came back again. I took the car in and they then diagnosed it and identified that there is a spare on the passenger seat that need to be replaced. The initial commitment was to ensure that the car is repaired before the end of December 2019. Until last week Friday unfortunately there was no ETA. In essence it means that I will be going back to work with a car that is still not repaired.

The closest dealer is about 70km from my house and I have to take time off from work. The costs and the inconvenience caused by this ups and downs is not felt by Land Rover. The fact that I have to drive a car with such an alarm and rely on a word of mouth that it is safe is scary. Secondly when buying a brand new car the idea is to ensure that you have a peace of mind. As things stand I am back in the market looking for an alternative car as I am the only one that driving with the fear and frustration of driving around with such an error.

I hope I have escalated the issue to the right place and an alternative can be reached. I am not comfortable to drive around with this car.

After waiting for weeks for feedback I received an answer that I must take the car in for an assessment to determine if it is safe to drive or not? I have been patient but I am now really frustrated and feel like I am taken for granted. If I was considered a valuable customer I wouldn't have driven a brand new car with such a critical alarm for over six months.
