NEW RANGE ROVER WITH **** ENGINE AND OTHER PARTS, NEVER BUY RANGE ROVER EVOQUE

I bought Range Rover evoque on the 15 April 2018.On the 13 July 2018 the car had a abnormal sound and poor power performance. I called Land Rover customer service of which they arrange to have it taken to the nearest dealership, no apology telephonicly or via email to sell me a faulty car. The car was delivered at Empangeni dealership where I bought it.I went to the dealership the next day. They told me they will make a diagnosis and revert to me and if problem is fixable it will be replaced under warranty. On that day I tried to express my worry with having a 3 months old car that now has an engine problem as they suspected. I asked why they don't just replace the car they told me their job as service department is to fix and return. They are not involved with replacement.Advised me they will communicate with Range Rover SA to raise my concern.Never received any call from Landrover until I called them. During the car stay in the dealership I raised my concerns with the case manager at Land Rover who told me the same story of warranty and how I am not entitled for replacement.I was not happy and asked to speak to her senior. Her senior confirmed all statements, after a struggle to get hold of her.I was told the only time I receive a new car Is if the problem is not fixable or the current problem will not lead to other parts being broken.

So They eventually fixed the engine and I fetched it +/_ 4weeks ago.The next day another fault was reported by the car.4by4 ability loss was diagnose they kept the car to be fixed again and they still plan to return it and refuse replacement.

The gap of having a car given back to me for first repair was less than 24 hour with less than 30km so the next day. My question is how was this missed when engine was repaired.Who qualified my car to be released back to me with a fault, how many other faults are there undiagnosed, do the know what they are doing, should I CONSIDER THEM RELIABLE,IS IT SAFE TO DRIVE THIS CAR?

THE DEALERSHIP ATTEMPTED TO ROB THE PROCESS AND GAVE ME A CALL TO SAY THEY HAVE REALISED THE EXTENT OF THE PROBLEM AND ARE PLANNING TO HAND ME OVER TO THE SALES PERSON WHO WILL ASSIST ME AS THEY REPLACE THE CAR I WAS IMMEDIATELY HANDEDOVER TELEPHONICALLY TO SALES PERSON.WHO EXPLAINED NOTHING AND ASKED FOR MY IDNO BEFORE I COULD GIVE IT I ASKED WHAT ARE YOU DOING HE SAID IM TRYING TO REPLACE YOUR CAR.gladly I gave my details and some activity was done with my bank and I was told il receive password by sms and it was talking about settlement, shortly thereafter finance department calls me and request to assist me on my request to trade in my car.I got shocked because I don't remember asking to trade in.So this dealership was trying to ***** the process and force me trade in instead of them observing my consumer rights.when they learnt I'm becoming clever they revert back into repairing and fixing as if replacing was never a topic and this was denied telephonically.

I was told with an attitude I can report to whoever I wish to even ombudsman or my lawyers. Theres a lot of substandard service I received and negative attitude.

Land Rover SA AND ITS DEALERSHIP EMPANGENI IS A DISASTER.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS POOR EVEN POOR IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT.

HOW CAN I BE SO DISRESPECTED WHEN I PAY SOOO MUCH MONEY AND IM FORCED TO DRIVE SKOROKORO Range Rover. I HATE Range Rover WITH A PASSION. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT FOR ANYONE.ESPECIALLY TO BUY AT EMPANGENI IS A NO NO NO GO AREA.
