Misleading Information with incompetence

Hi

I recently bought a 2016 land rover , before buying the car i called Land Rover to see when the motor plan is expiring and they informed me that it will expire in Sep 2020 . The day i bought the car i sent it in for service and a full 360 point check . They advised i am 45 days overdue for the yearly service and will have to pay a late service fee of R2400 . Within the day i did the EFT for the late service fee .

I collected the car , a few days later they advised my motor plan is suspended and i should pay for the service , the car suppose to have motor plan till Sep 2020 . ( i have confirmation on email)

The incompetence on behalf of Land Rover mislead me and caused a great deal of inconvenience and the value of my car has dropped by almost R100 000 without an motorplan

I have all the communications from Land rover confirming an active motor plan . Should I take them to court or maybe the ombudsman ?

Please advise guys. Regards Ebrahim ***
