Jaguar E Pace Engine Failure
I’m writing to you regards my Jaguar e pace. Below is a brief timeline from purchase to todayso would really appreciate you looking into this and letting me know what you think. Jaguar E-pace CAA108400 Ordered 25/07/2019 Collected 6/12/2019 Licenced and registered 12/12/2019 First service – 19/11/2***0km Second service/check – took in due to coolant warning light on display carried out repair and VHC quality checks carried out – 29/06/2021 25944km Third service – 03/02/2***9km (overdue – paid R2200 penality) 07/02/022 Received call to say that car service was complete and ready to collect. Went to collect car and it wouldn’t start. Kept car for further testing. 17/02/2022 Quote received to replace engine for R238,571.65 due to sludge in engine from late service.
Legally we have no leg to stand on as its not covered under warranty due to the late service but I don’t believe a brand new car that was over a million rand should have engine failure after one late service, do you? Very distressing as we can’t afford to carry out the repair and haven’t been given any other options.
