False Advertising & Failure to Honour Pricing - Jaguar Land Rover

Enquired about a pre-owned vehicle on Autotrader advertised for a price of R305 000.00. The salesperson got back to me (ON EMAIL) confirming the vehicle details as well as the price of R305 000.00.

A couple days later, make the trip from JHB to DBN to view the car, we move forward with the application for finance, only for the dealership to now tell me that the vehicle costs R389 900.00. I query that they cannot advertise something for one price, confirm it over email and then change their mind, but they refuse to listen. They now want to offer me a reduced price of R359 900.00, which is still much higher than the price advertised. This is absolutely absurd and a total case of false advertising and failure to honour their not only advertised, but confirmed prices too!

Still waiting for the dealer principle to contact me regarding this issue. Perhaps this is just how Jaguar Land Rover operates.
