Failed to disclose vehicle being in an accident

On the 29th of May 2015, I purchased a used Mercedes Benz C250 coupe from Jaguar Landrove Hillcrest, which looked visibly fine. <br> <br> I have had many discussions with the manager (Aseed) and sales representative (Mandla), around the condition of the vehicle, especially if it has been in any accidents. <br> <br> I was always told that the vehicle has not been in any accident. Almost 9 months later, when I decide to sell the vehicle, I have been informed that there was a repair of R55000 done on the car? <br> <br> CPA states that dealerships, by law have to disclose any defects relating to the vehicle in question. <br> <br> This to me is totally unacceptable, as now I have a poor trade in value, where i lose R40000 on a settlement figure. <br> <br> I am definitely going to get my lawyers involved, as this dishonesty, especially of a reputable franchise cannot continue. <br> <br> I am extremely disheartened with my purchase and will definitely be providing this information to the media.
