Buyers Beware

<p>i am a trader and bought a Porsche Cayenne from Land Rover East Rand off the traders auction site. The car was described with 0 Mechanical Faults. After having the Car less than 24hours I experienced a bad shudder in the gear box. I took it to Porsche where a Porsche mechanic told me that the Valve body needs to be replaced. From the Agents this is a R40000 problem. I phoned Henry Van Rensburg who is the used car sales manager. He said he would speak to his DP and get back to me. After no response I phoned back and basically got the you bought it it's now your problem attitude. I asked if they were willing to either sort it out on their behalf or Atleast go half on a repair not even at the agents but it's basically a you got caught attitude. I have done business before with this dealership with previous Managers & DPs. It's sad how the staff can completely ruin a companies name. It is people like this that give good dealers a bad name! If this exact situation were the other way round I don't think Land Rover East Rand would accept this being done to them. </p>
