Best intentions = Arrogance from Landrover SA

A cracked tappet cover at 110 000km on a Discovery 4, just out of warranty. Dealer's mechanic says should never happen. R24k to fix...and dealer (East London) nor Landrover SA won't entertain one rand from their infamous "goodwill out-of-warranty" fund. They claim their best intentions at all times but read this as pure arrogance. A dedicated landy fan of 22 years with 2 landrovers is no more....a small goodwill gesture would have gone a long way. I will personally ask Kinglsey Holgate when he will "see the light"...... Disappointed ex-landrover fan
