JAC Motors Bakkie Rust

We bought a brand new JAC Bakkie and it is rusting severely within 4 months. The feedback is that the China holding company will not fix the underlying paint preparation issue and will only fix the rust spots that have already appeared. So should we just reclaim for each new rust spot until our warranty expires or pay to fix the underlying manufacturing fault ourselves....
