Exceptional customer service

I was on the way down to the drakensburg for a holiday with my family. There were quite a few areas where the road was under construction. As I approached another area marked off by construction signs 20km outside Villiers, my gearbox was jammed in 5th gear. I pulled over, turned my car off in hopes I could restart it and push it back into gear. Unfortunately the gear selector would not budge, I called JAC Westrand and explained the story. They took approximately an hour (due to having to obtain authorizations from managers) to inform me that they will be sending a replacement vehicle and would organize for my vehicle to be taken back to the shop. I was approximately 2 hours away from the West rand dealership. Koenie called me and said that he was filling up and would be there ASAP. In 1 hour and 45 minutes he arrived and immediately handed me the keys to the replacement bakkie and told me to enjoy my holiday and drive safe.

I received my vehicle two weeks later (they left the replacement bakkie with me so I could still carry out my daily tasks) and the problem was solved. In those two weeks my gearbox was removed and sent off to a gearbox specialist who said nothing was wrong with the actual gearbox it may have just been a selector that jammed which must have been resolved when they put it back together.

All of the above did not cost me a cent due to the vehicle still being under warranty.

I would just like to say that this is great customer service and did not except this.
