iPhone 6s repair

Hi, in 2019 I sent in my iPhone 6s to get fixed. The home button was not working, and the phone had a dent where they also said they would change the back from its original colour of silver to gold. I made a follow up almost weekly where I was told that it had been taken to jhb and I should wait to receive feedback. Unfortunately the feedback never came. I reached out again, only this time I was told that the previous owner had sold the shop and the previous employees had ****** most of the phones that were booked in. Fast foward to 2020 I continued to make a follow up and have been given the run around, where I was told to WhatsApp everything and they would look into it. I then went and found the area manager who then said it was unfortunate but could not assist. I am asking for my iPhone 6s back or to be refunded. I did not gift the shop but booked my phone to get repaired. I am upset at how this has been dealt with. So no one is being held accountable for this? And I don’t have a phone that I paid cash for that belonged to me.
