TOOK MONEY THEN CLOSED BUSINESS

I bought presents that I saved up for on the 4th November. When I didn't receive the goods as promised I tried to follow up, but no one answered and the website was under construction. I then tried contacting them through their social media pages as well as the owner's LinkedIn profile and Facebook page. No answer. When I checked again the next day, they had a notice saying they have closed down due to financial issues and they closed their social pages as well.<br> <br> I emailed the address provided and only when I emailed for a 3rd time did they mail me back with an automated response to say I must contact their lawyers. I did that, only to get a bulk mail with lots of customers cc'd in to fill in a form. <br> <br> No real idea of if I will see my money again or the goods I purchased? <br> <br> Don't take money from customers, if you know or have some sort of idea that you might close your business down. <br> <br>
