J Jade 3 reviews | Active since Jun 2012 12 Mar 2024 at 12:46 Insurance **** When I took out my edgars account in April 2023, I also signed up for the compulsory Account Protection Plan which is insurance for illness, death and loss of income. Since early February, I have been trying to claim for loss of income but I have been sent from pillar to post between RCS, Edgars, IUA (insurance administrator) and Hollard (insurance underwriters).

The final verdict, IUA has no record of a policy on any of my details so they refuse to help, yet every month on my edgars statement is a charge for the Account Protection Plan insurance.

I am utterly disgusted at the service I've gotten from all 4 of these companies in the last 30 days and would advise anyone to avoid taking out any form of credit with Edgars or RCS, or any form of insurance with IUA.
