IUA Business Solutions / Bidvest Insurance - ****************

<p>I am disgusted with this product and the manner in which this is sold to people buying cars as piece of mind for the new product / car.</p> <p>When you buy a vehicle (I purchased a Toyota Fortuner) you are sold this policy which says you can claim up to R2500 per incident on scratch and dents on a vehicle for a period of 2 years.</p> <p>I submitted a claim (my first ever claim) on 7 Feb 2017 in this regard and the best price I could get a pannelbeater to fix a minor dent and paint damage came to R2750. My claim was rejected and there is no option for me top up or pay the difference. The claim simply rejected - even though the Ex vat amount came in at under the R2500 mark.</p> <p>I also enquired with the pannelbeaters (various) about this scratch and dent insurance and most don`t even want to accept it or quote on the work if this IUA Business Solutions / Bidvest covers the vehicle for scratch and dent insurance. Furthermore, i was advised by the pannelbeaters (and I can now see for myself) that you can`t even fix a small dent or scratch these days under R2800. Which actually nullifies the need for this policy.</p> <p>MY ADVICE TO ANYONE WOULD BE TO NOT INCLUDE THIS POLICY / SIMILAR WHEN BUYING A VEHICLE. IT IS WORHTLESS AND YOU ARE WASTING YOUR MONEY!!!</p> <p>I will never support this or any similar type of insurance / company. You are far better off making sure you can include this type of damage with your short term vehicle insurer.</p> <p>I find this totally unacceptable .</p> <p> </p>
