Fabricating Reasons not to Authorize Claim

I called IUA to submit a claim. I indicated the damages and mentioned that I needed to submit a claim for repairs.

Upon realising that the other damages did not meet their requirements, I only claimed for the repair of the dents on the door edges which is withing their terms and conditions.

It would seem as though IUA is looking for an excuse not to authorize the claim and now they are forcing me to submit the photos of the other scratches which I know if I include they are going to decline anyway.

I just wrote an email to them clarifying that I have payed for this benefit and they should not now make excuses not to authorize the claim.

Actually interestingly enough, two Auto Body Panelbeaters refused to give me quote(s) cause they stated categorically that IUA doesn't have a good reputation when it comes to handling and authorising claims.

I know that the policy is only worth R3500 but it is unacceptable what these people are doing, looking for any loophole or excuse to make us forfeit the money we paid for this policy.

Soo they are looking for any excuse not to pay for a benefit I paid for, as if they are doing me a favor? I did nothing wrong and I did not lie to anyone.
