Scratch Marks & Cracking on ‘iTile’ Product

I visited the Centurion branch showroom and waited a considerable amount of time to be helped.

I spoke to two separate sales personnel on the showroom floor & confirmed that the tile that I was interested in was indeed for both wall & floor use. I then bought the beautiful & very pricey tiles.

One day after installation I began to notice scratch marks on the tiles on the floor. Upon closer inspection, I then noticed a crack.

We spent thousands of Rands buying these tiles, and thousands of Rands installing these tiles, only to find out that we were incorrectly advised on the proper use of the tile.

My fiancé went back to the showroom & spoke to the manager ‘Jay’. Jay promised to speak to iTile head office & call us the following day with a solution.

Jay did not call.

My fiancé then called iTile. They informed us that nothing can be done because the “tiles are already installed”.

We also purchased tiles from Tile Africa and CTM, and we were correctly informed by the personnel from both these companies.

iTile’s personnel are ***********.

Furthermore, their head office is without concern for customers.

iTile head office simply dismissed us with a message of ‘nothing can be done’.

I also see from other reviews that sales staff at the centurion branch have miss informed other customers before.

I know what iTile can do: I WANT MY MONEY BACK FOR THE TILES I PURCHASED AS WELL AS INSTALLATION COSTS!
