Custom made tiles are not actually custom made and take very long

We ordered custom-made coping to finish off our stairs professionally (which was double the price of the tiles). The coping was supposed to take 7-14 days and but actually over a month to be made. When the coping arrived it was not actually cut to the correct tile size but was in fact 5 mm too long. When questioned about it the salesman said we need to cut it ourselves and just passed the buck to the tiler.
