We just had I-Switch water pre-paid installed at the complex that I reside in, and every owner had to pay for the installation and devise. with the economy at a very bad state currently, I am having a bit of a financial constrain and I am currently owing I-Switch an amount for the installation of the pre-paid water meter. I have been owing I-switch for a few months and it happened that the amount I owe them is uploaded to my meter number, meaning that I have to pay what I owe before I can buy water for my apartment, eg, if I owe them R2000 for the installation and I need to buy water for R50, I will then have to make a purchase of R2050 to cover my arears amount and get my R50 water purchase. but on 2024/03/19 I ran out of water in my apartment and as I am working from home, I needed to have water at all times, I was blown away by the humanity of the agents at I-Switch when they understood that I ran out of water in the middle of the month, and even if I have an outstanding debt with them, they still allowed me to make a R20 water purchase to last me till the end of the month where I can make my payment. FOR THAT I WILL FOREVER SALUTE I-SWITCH. thank guys for being human.
