Terrible service since 2012 from General Motors Secunda and HQ after I bought a new Isuzu DE-TEQ 300

<p>The history of my Isuzu de-teq ********** model bakkie that I bought on the 01-10-2012 very proud of my new bakkie, I gave my neighbour a test drive to feel the new sensation and he asked me if its normal for the clutch to jump up and down while driving. We took it to the GM Secunda branch and they replaced bearings on it. Brand new bakkie just a few kilometres on the clock no charge at all and it was told it should feel like that because of the type of clutch but they had to replace the bearings.. WOW. </p> <p>As the first rain fell realise the wiper blades are not cleaning the window at all. After asking the branch to replace it they told me it is a wear and tear item its my problem… (brand new bakkie). The right mirror with this nice folding ability when parked started to malfunction and then the foot rest for the left foot broke off the arm rest on the left hand side lifted away from its position, the left front window rail were replaced as the window stop winding. - Brand new bakkie…</p> <p>I thought I bought this nice new vehicle just to get the biggest disappointment ever and my complaints just get rejected and my life is in danger…</p> <p>Reported events:</p> <p>10-10-12 vibration on clutch and gear lever while driving</p> <p>21-10-12 wiper (did not clean window left lines)</p> <p>8-3-12 Just after 15 000 km service left armrest was lose</p> <p>15-3-12 right mirror got stuck when close or open</p> <p>21-3-12 install rails on the back (registered company)</p> <p>30-7-13 service 30401km</p> <p>8-8-13 we do the shimming and alignment on the bakkie</p> <p>12-8-13 the right door makes very strange noises when opening and closing.</p> <p>+/- 16-8-13 when passing a vehicle at 100Km/h I need to hang on to the steering as the vehicle drifts terribly to one side (not flat tyres, wheel alignment or shocks it’s a chassis / steering problem)</p> <p>21-8-13 I did wheel alignment again but still drifting - Again this is a new vehicle not supposed to do wheel alignment two times in less than 2 years</p> <p>20-8-13 We discovered that the coil springs on the wheels were loose</p> <p>26-11-13on 40 054km I put new tires on the bakkie because the surface was running off</p> <p>12-12-13 Supa-Quick removed the tires and test the rims (they where oval) both back rims causing the tyre problems</p> <p>10-1-14 They changed the rims back to front (to feel less of the bounce)</p> <p>25-1-14 back left window got stuck</p> <p>25-1-14 front left window got stuck again</p> <p>30-1-14 Solly in Middelburg change the front shocks on warranty</p> <p>5-2-14 service 45306km</p> <p>+/- 53 000km tires at the back running surface sheared of a peace and replace it</p> <p>20-4-14 The side rails on the cab sheared out of its holes I drilled new holes to mount the rails again. - Basically still a new bakkie not hardworking at all.. I check on similar bakkies for the correct positioning</p> <p>14-10-14 I did send a mail to GM customer service request help from GM SA no answer on our mail at all</p> <p>I request help from Wesbank as the vehicle is financed by them and still their property but they referred us to GM .</p> <p>This vehicle is 2 years and 2 months old with all this problems is that acceptable?.</p> <p>20-12-14 the front left window got stuck again it can't go up or down</p> <p>5-1-15 service 75500 km GM Agency requested that we install "Bushing Shackles" on the coil springs to help with the drifting issue.</p> <p>12-3-15 I replaced all the shocks on the bakkie and the alignment. They said it is the shocks that was causing the drifting on the road. That didn’t help at all.</p> <p>14-3-15 the bakkie is still drifting dangerously and GM is claiming that the bushing shackles is the problem, the same Shackles that they installed.</p> <p>28-4-15 85 500 km we installed the new bushing shackles just to find that there is another problem that can cause the drifting on the road. One of the bolts that holds the backend "cab" and the chasse together is there but the rubber part is missing (factory slip-up).</p> <p>28-4-15 back left window slides very slowly up and down.</p> <p>30-4-16 They installed 2 new shocks on the front because the shocks were not "correct"</p> <p>On 130 000 km I have to chance the tires again because they are wearing off due to all this factory problems.</p> <p>2-8-16 vehicle were drifting extremely to the left and right so badly that the vehicle almost rolled over and off the road forcing my speed limit to not exceed 80 km/h it is impossible to stay on the road at 120km/h</p> <p>Last weekend we discovered that both front tires are now warned out and that 180 degrees of the treads were warned away on the opposed sides as if the tires were wobbling. </p> <p>We approached GM Secunda and GM SA in order to assist with fault finding on all the deviations with very little to now assistance. </p> <p>We are in serious need for top level assistance from GM regarding this life threatening and deadly situation! My life and my family's safety's at risk. This bakkie is not roadworthy from day one with NO support from GM the bakkie needs to be fixed of replaced… I have spent thousands of rands on repairing and trying to get a brand new bakkie to be roadworthy and fully functional… This is NOT acceptable.. </p> <p>Gustav Heyman - Secunda. ********** </p>
