Since 1989 I been using Isuzu. . NEVER AGAIN
I bought a brand new 2020 d max extended cab. It’s now 3 years later and there’s issues with vehicle that even Isuzu themselves failed to solve. The van overheated 7 times in past. 3 times the bakkie was returned blowing bubbles in radiator and Isuzu insisted the van is right and the bakkie did over heat again. In the 3 years the van could have spent atleast 10 months in repairs while I had to pay instalments on vehicle. The van was given back again still blowing bubbles and Isuzu says vehicle is right. That was not the only problem. The car kit to date still don’t work correctly. Ppl I talk to can’t hear me. Isuzu can’t fix this to date. New radio new microphone later and still don’t work as expected of a new vehicle. The bakkie also has issue of sticky gears . Reported this in past and bakkie was given back as though it’s right. If anything the issue has got worse . The alignment always going off. I been m3 driver for 22 years of my life and never had such issues as with Isuzu. The aircon works intermittently. The disk pads at 15000 km was finished. Was told there was a factory fault on disk pads manufactured. My question is why was it not recalled on vehicle’s it was used on. Instead left for me to ask how this is possible to be finished at 15000km. They said bc van is automatic. Even M cars lasted longer. Another issue is this bakkie sounds like a tracker inside. been to Isuzu factory and still not sorted. There is so much more engine noise coming through in comparative to other identical vans I drove. In all I bought a brand new second hand vehicle from Isuzu bc I’m experiencing problems of a second hand hand vehicle. Worse is Isuzu won’t exchange this vehicle that’s been problematic now 3 years later from fault after fault. It’s Isuzu bad build but they won’t replace their bad workmanship. Meaning they don’t hold themselves liable for their bad workmanship. People be very careful when buying an Isuzu bakkie. The talk is not the same as their walk when it comes to after service or accountability.
