Complaint - Re Radiator Leakage

13 days ago i realised that one of my dreams did come true, That dream was to Buy a Brand New Car for myself , and the Car i bought was an Isuzu Bakie, i owned one before but was a very Old 250D Bakie that i bought from a close relative, i drove that one for almost 6 years, that made me fall in love with Isuzu, hence i decided to buy a Brand new one, I took a bus to Collect my Bakie from Midrand (****M) away from my village in Limpopo, i wanted to experience the drive of a brand new car on a high way when driving back

On the 09th of December i collected my Bakie from Isuzu Midrand (William Hunt) drove all the way to Venda in Limpopo , nice experience,

6 days later while driving i observed something , The Temperature of the car went above the normal temp, After observing that is when i realised that There is a leakage of water from the Radiator I called Isuzu Road side assistance , who were very quick to assist , they came and Pick the car up to the nearest Isuzu Dealership in Makhado (120KM away) on 16/12/2020

Two days later i decided to make a follow up with the dealership who told me they are yet to inspect my Bakie , which i was not really impressed about it

on Monday 21 Dec, i had to make several calls to the Dealership again to provide me with the report and assessment

Later on Monday i called again an the consultant told me my Radiator is damaged and it looks like i damaged it so i will have to Pay for it She then sent me a Quote which amounted to -+ R11.500

I also requested a Proof of damage , of which a Picture was then sent to me , i was informed that it looks like something damaged the Radiator (in Front Just behind the Grill)

Looking at the Pic i am trying to imagine what is it that could have hit the Radiator (very Small place - 1cm probably or less) trough the Grill and cause a Damage that will make the Radiator to leak

That has left lot of concerns for me

1. The Bakie was never driven to Off-road 2. I am now left Questioning the workmanship or Quality of Radiator 3. If the car was used under normal use , moving from point A to B and something so small or little can cause a leakage damage on the radiator through the Grill then was it me to the poor quality of the Radiator

It has been 7 Days later now with out my Car, what seemed to be a celebratory 2020 finish for 2020 for me now feels like i have to Spend R12k for those repairs or else i am not going to be mobile at all

My Expectations are as follows

1. The Radiator be replaced under warranty 2. The Replaced or damaged Radiator be taken back to the suppliers or Manufactures for Quality or Workmanship assessment

I do not believe that the damage on the Radiator is my Fault and i believe that that was not supposed to have led to a leakage of water
