I just want Isuzu to honor their warranty

I purchased a brand new Isuzu kb 250 DTEQ in december. after 40000km my clutch has failed.

I do not carry heavy loads. I do not race the vehicle. the vehicle does not even have a tow bar so it has never even towed a trailer. I have driven the vehicle very decently from the day of purchase, the vehicle cost me R306000.

I sent it in for repairs with the impression it would be covered under the warranty agreenment. I asked for a courtesy vehicle to use in the meantime as I use this vehicle for work and without the vehicle I cant generate an income. the then told me all their courtesy vehicles are currently in use and I need to hire a car. after 12phone calls I eventually managed to get them to pay for the hire vehicle. My isuzu has been in there for almost a week with not a word from isuzu with an update.

I then proceded to call them again to find out what is going on with my vehicle. they did not have an answer for me. they called me back about three hours later and told me that the clutch is burned and will not be covered under warranty. I then asked them how could this have happened? his response to me was...well, it "SEEMS" as though you have been driving with a heavy foot!

it seems? that does not sound very factual to me. I need facts not assumptions. he then back tracked and said no, its a fact that you have been driving with a heavy foot.

I have driven many vehicles in my life and have put hundreds of thousands of km's on the clock and not once have I ever had to replace a clutch. I understand that a clutch is a disposable part but at 40000km? please....even if I have a "heavy foot" I dont see how my driving could have burned a clutch.

well where I stand now is I have to take the rental vehicle back. I have no transport and cannot generate an income all thanks to isuzu and thorp motor group.
