Bad service and overall bad experience driving an Isuzu bakkie

We are so sad to be reviewing our experience, but this situation is out of our control and no one can help us.

I bought the bakkie in 2022, the bakkie has a full service history and all the services has been done by C.A.T motors Isuzu dealership, Cradock.

All the services are up to date.

The bakkie broke after a few months and first they said the problem was with the traction control and the abs. So C.A.T motors took the Bakkie and fixed the problem they said the bakkie had.

The bakkie agan broke after a month, and then they said the problem was with the map and cip, they removed it, and then the bakkie was still not working properly.

Again the bakkie broke, C.A.T motors said this time, the injector got stuck.

Then again the bakkie broke, then C.A.T motors said the problem is wih the injectors and since then the bakkie never worked again!

The Enjin is blown out.

They said the bakkie is booked to be fixed and after a few months of following up, the bakkie is again not booked to be fixed, the enjin is still out of the Bakkie.

C.A.T motors said this time, it’s a shortage of technicians. Every time there’s a different excuse and story and the bakkie is still standing at C.A.T motors after months now. We’ve been in contact with the workshop manager, and still we dont have any update as of yet of what’s the problem with the Bakkie or when it will be fixed.

The enjin is currently in PE after stopping a few times at C.A.T motors to ask them to please fix the bakkie as I don’t have anything to farm with. They said they will said a quote through to fix the bakkie and after a few weeks no update has been send through.

The bakkie only cost us money and we’ve only had problems with the bakkie. We pay every time for a problem with the bakkie and then it’s not the actual problem with the bakkie. The bakkie don’t want to work, they don’t care to fix the bakkie and I keep on paying and still the bakkie isn’t working.

The machines that they use on the bakkie to see what the problem is on the Bakkie, never showed anything wrong with injectors, enjin or nothing. We are left in the dark, I need to farm with my bakkie and don’t have anything to drive with. Every week there’s a different excuse why the Bakkie isn’t fixed yet. We’re tired and don’t know what to do anymore. The service at C.A.T motors is really disappointing and our experience driving a Isuzu bakkie, is overall bad. Will not recommend to anyone.

I received the quotation from the dealer today after leaving a review, it will cost me R100 000 to fix the bakkie. After all the problems the bakkie had, after broking so many times, so many extra costs, now I still need to pay R100 000 to fix the bakkie. I am truly disappointed in this whole situation and how much money this bakkie costs me. This honestly doesn’t make sense at all.
