Bad Review to Isuzu :-(
Really not worth a star at all, and with no response from Isuzu SA to any earlier complaints, I don't have high hopes for any resolve - at least I get to let other people know how BAD BAD the service is!!! My Vehicle has only 60 000km on it and already the seat and steering wheel is damaged. It must be said that my vehicle is parked under a roof for 80% of the time and I am not in the habit of not looking after my things, so the fact that these things broke is purely a result of low grade parts used.
I contacted Isuzu SA to please replace it and they refused to replace the steering wheel but eventually agreed to replace the seat for me.
To start off with, Bruce at Isuzu SA assured me that the seat was going to be replaced, but that some time was needed to arrange it all, only to hear from him after two weeks that Isuzu actually wasn't going to replace the seat because they felt that I have caused the seat to break. I told him that it was impossible that I broke the seat, as I am not a big guy and I look after my things! He then said that he will kindly appeal on my behalf to get them to replace the seat. I called him back (because he can't seem to remember to call back at all) and he told me that Isuzu has agreed to replace the seat.
Bruce then told me that he will make an appointment at Tzaneen Service centre last week to have the seat replaced. When I called Tzaneen the day before said booking, to make sure that my booking is in order and that the seat is there, I was told that no booking was made!!!!
Again I had to make calls to find out what went wrong and Bruce tried to blame it on the manager at Tzaneen service centre, which I found out later was not the case, Bruce never made the booking.
He then made a booking for me again for yesterday, and I received messages to confirm that everything was in order, but when the lady I asked to take the vehicle in arrived, she was told that the seat would be taken to an upholsterer in Tzaneen to fix the seat!!!
Now.. When I spoke to Bruce - and some of the other consultants - at Isuzu SA, we have never spoken about repairing the seat - we only used the word REPLACE. I was even assured by Bruce that the new seat will be in Tzaneen when the vehicle is taken in.
I tried calling today to reach the complaints department and as soon as I gave them my Reference number, the phone went dead.. I have not been able to get through to them on my phone since!!
