Declined for Istore Finance Solely because of my age- Extremely disappointed

This is my formal complaint I wanna talk about my experience at iStore Mall of Africa on 31 July 2026 when I app**** for iStore Finance.

I was assisted by Rethabile Phala and submitted all the required documents. I was later informed that my application was declined solely because of my age. I am 23 years old, employed, have a good credit record and can afford the repayments. I also asked whether there were any other reasons for the decline, and I was assured that everything else was in order.

I would appreciate clarity on how my age could be the reason for the decline and whether iStore has a specific age requirement for finance.

I was particularly disappointed as I subsequently app**** for finance at Incredible Connection and was approved.

Please investigate this matter and provide me with a formal explanation.
