iSON Experience Cape Town Jan Smuts

I am extremely disappointed with the encounter and misleading information I experienced with iSON experience. I went for an interview late last month. During my interview I was advised that a stipend would be received for the month of training and thereafter a basic salary will be paid.

On the first day of training HR advised the stipend will be paid in two portions. The first portion was to be expected by end of July and the remainder will be paid along with a prorated amount (for days worked after training). Just last week after enquiry if about the payment date, HR then advised the first half of the stipend is due by the 14th of August only. I followed up with HR since last week, no feedback was given up until today.

I managed to get hold of HR today after I had to track her down as she wasn’t at her office for our agreed meeting time. Eventually I got to sit down and raise my concerns with HR. Not only was I made out to be a lair, no accountability was taken from HR’s side. Even the person who interviewed me denied having interviewed me.

My advice to anyone looking for employment would be to stay far away from this company as possible. I spent an entire month of travelling just to hear I’d get paid the mid next month.

To the iSON team, your rules and agreements need to be made very clear to your HR staff as they are feeding interviewees misinformation.
