Slient Calls

I keep receiving repeated calls from this number. When I answer, there is silence and the call is disconnected, and then they call again.

I called back to find out what was going on, and the agent told me they are collectors for FNB. However, I do not have any loans with FNB—only a bank account. When they checked my details, they said my number is not on their system and could not provide a clear reason for the calls.

I was then told that my number may have previously belonged to someone else and that their automated dialer might still be calling me. This explanation does not make sense, as they also confirmed my details are not on their system.

The agent suggested I may have called the wrong number and said a supervisor would call me back, but I am still waiting for clarity.

This situation is very frustrating—receiving repeated silent calls with no explanation is unacceptable. I would appreciate this being resolved and my number removed from any calling system.

I am recieving calls at 02h11 in the morning and early hours of the morning where I am still alseep.
