Insensitive & Distateful

A month ago, I was called by an agent regarding various products. During our chat, I noted to her that it was not a good time due to personal issues (my son is ill), and we still stayed on the phone for quite some time while she tried to convince me of the product. I needed no convincing. I have been a customer since 2019 and have always been happy with both product and service. I asked her to call back in about a month to see if things had changed.

This morning she called around 09:45. I am deliberate about the time because I would appreciate it if they could listen to the call. After her introduction, I noted several times, that I am not in a position to at this point, and then compelled to tell her about my son's condition, neurology appointments etc, which she acknowledged but simply continued canvassing the product. She also made me understand that this is the second time she is calling me. I repeated that I have an ill child and she just kept going. I eventually cut the call because I felt sick at her insistence above my issue, which I really didn't have to share. I found this to be distasteful and insensitive. I am livid.

In the interim, I have called the call center to request information regarding closing my account and escalation of this.
