They are not really striving for betterment, it's just a statement they make
When many people are saying the same thing about an institution it's usually the truth. My cousin wrote her last exam in October last year, almost a year later she hasn't received her certificate - fees were paid in full and all modules passed but when it's time to deliver, NOTHING HAPPENS. They don't even reply to emails.

Your cousin completed her course after the second semester of 2021 which means she will graduate in July 2022. The institution has been communicating with her regarding graduation.
