Refund over cancelation

I app**** for registration via the phone at the beginning of May this year for a Higher certificate in Business Administration. The registration process was not complete as i haven't sent any documents to them as yet. On the 26th May after reviewing my financial standing due to the impact of the COVID-19, i decided to cancel the registration and requested a refund. A response came on the same day saying my request to cancel has been approved and if the debit order goes through, i should expect refund in 7 days. Today is the 08th since the debit order went through on the 29th May and the refund dololo. I called the call center to enquire the progress of my query, a lady named Vuyokazi told me it will take 7-9 days for the refund to be processed. That's over and above the 7 days I've already waited... Meaning its actually 14-16 days of waiting, way beyond their own word.

I found this unprofessionalism very disturbing and inconsiderate.
