My name is Dora Radebe, ID No ***, I enrolled at IQ Academy the beginning of the year, for a 6 month course. Doing Public Administration. The arrangement was for me to pay for 6 month, since I was enrolled for 6 month course, and it will be Debited in my bank account and the amount of R 499.99 was being debited every month on my payday.

Recently have completed my 6 month course and when I ask when am I going to receive my Certificate, I was told that I still owe the Academy and im supposed to pay for 18 month for the course and m done with. And my question is why do I pay for the extra month while we m done with the course. I believe they where supposed to enroll me for the 18 month course if they say I need to pay for. Im really not happy with this Academy because I think their call Center Agent tell us lies when they contact us. And I will like Hello Peter to get to the bottom of this because they will keep on Debiting money from me for the course was have completed. I really liked the Academy because their course are reasonable in terms of affordability but now they taking us for a ride. Please Hello Peter You assistant me before and the out come was great. Please Assist me with this on. Thank you very much.

We sincerely apologise for any confusion and frustration you might have encountered related to your course enrollment and payment structure. We acknowledge that you enrolled in a 6-month course in Public Administration and have successfully completed it. We strive to ensure clear communication about course duration and payment terms, and we regret that this was not your experience. Upon further review, we found that the agent explained the distinction between the Higher Certificate and Short Courses. As the semester for the Higher Certificate had already begun and the next one was scheduled for August 2024, you indicated that you were not willing to wait that long. The agent recommended starting with the Short Course until the second semester, after which you could register for the Higher Certificate. The agent also outlined the total cost of the course, which is R8,990, with a minimum payment of R499 over 18 months, to which you agreed. We will email you the sales recording and your acceptance of the payment terms for your records. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we sincerely regret that you might have felt that our communication fell short of your expectations.
