Misleading Marketing

If there was a zero rating, this will be it! So I get this call from a charming lady, telling me that I need to take multi vitamins and magnesium. She told me that being a platinum life client I qualify for a price discount and also that if I agree to buy the vitamins I qualify for a prize. She told me because I am a vip client of Platinum life the scratch card in my parcel has a guaranteed prize of either one of the following: A smart TV, Coffee maker, Dish washer, Air fryer. She mentioned more than once that one of those prizes are guaranteed. Seeing that I am in need of a new TV, and I could probably do with some multivitamins, I agreed to buy the vitamins from them. The told me that I need to agree to a debit order mandate, which I did. The parcel arrived today, and as promised, there was a scratch card in it. I scratch and guess what I won.........R600 IPS Health and Wellness Discount Voucher. I have heard of the tactics of Platinum Life and their partners but up and till today I have only had good service from Platinum Life. This kind of deceit is lower than low and borders on theft and *****. I will not leave this here. I will be contacting my back to cancel that debit order mandate and they can come fetch their tablets whenever they want. People should be careful when dealing with Platinum Life and their partners. I am feeling like an idiot for being taken like this. Be warned!
