Never buy a domain name from iPage they have no regard for your business

I've been with iPage since 2013, I registered my domain for my business with them. In 2019 due to a serious illness, I took time off work to focus on my health. iPage must have sent me an e-mail I never read that they would delete my domain name and sell it to a third party without getting a confirmation that I had read the mail. I decided to follow up with iPage as I wanted to renew my domain only to discover that they had sold the domain name I created on their website. If you want to buy a domain name from iPage, please don't do it. They have very little regard for small businesses and their intellectual property. I found out that they sold my domain name to a random chinese company and chances are that I'll never get the name of my business back.

My main Problem is why do you send an email to determine such important decision and not seek a response from the person? So in reality I never agreed to you selling my domain name but you went ahead.

All the good will I built with that name is gone due to iPage.
