Guesthouses be aware - no pay, no stay!!

Do not provide accommodation to this company without full pre-payment!

We have been battling to receive payment for a month to no avail.

Their modus-operandi is to make a reservation late in the afternoon (in this case by Shelley from their Cape Town offices) and they promised to submit proof of payment. Guest arrives but their Accounts Department has closed. In the morning the guest leaves but seeing that we had submitted the invoice, had all company details, various contact numbers, guest details incl. ID etc. we felt confident that the payment was on its way... BIG MISTAKE!!

We are now pursuing the guest directly, as he signed our indemnity which stipulates that guest is personally liable if the company and/or agency doesn't settle - so watch this space!
