The best bank in South Africa

Investec is without a doubt the best bank in South Africa.

My wallet and phone got ****** in Rome and I called Investec at 19:30 to regain access to my online accounts.

When calling Investec, a real human picks up the phone, no IVR! What is even more amazing about Investec is that the person who pics up can actually resolve your issue, no transfers or holding. My issue was resolved within 10 minutes by a knowledgeable and well-spoken Investec employee.

Just to compare: one of the cards in my wallet was with FNB, I just gave up trying to cancel it after the third call to some system with numerous different options and no solution. Needless to say that card has not been cancelled yet.

Well done Investec! You have my loyalty.
