Not a bank for small business owners !!

Rather establish a relationship with one of the big 4 banks. Or better yet, align your partnership with a digital bank. My advice - a digital bank is more valuable than a personal banker with another 600 clients to “worry” about. Avoid the disappointment of being considered as legitimate average folk.

My business banks with Investec (previous) owner. Investec is happy to take fees for the business account however not interested in taking on a 30year old business owner. Investec’s approach to qualifying criteria for business owners is from 1980.

Business owners invest every cent back into their businesses….

Oh and your NAV cannot consist of your business activities ?!? Small business owners are their businesses… how can Investec exclude YOUR business interests from your NAV calculations ?

Our “private” banking team has degraded in quality over the years and it’s testament to Investec’s lack of interest in small business owners.

Again do yourself a favour and STAY away. Avoid the disappointment, avoid the embarrassment, you do not need the prestige. No card, plastic or metal will ever determine your wealth.

Especially not according to Investec.
