Severe violation of privacy

<p>I requested bank statements to be delivered to my office on 20 June 2016. On 21 June 2016 I had received no confirmation or follow up. I followed up via email. The response I received was the statements had been left with someone at reception to which they werent even sure of what the surname was on 20 June. Keeping in mind these are my private bank statements with all my financial activity that were just left with some random person. I then had to try and track them down with no definitive reference as to where the documents had been left I eventually found the documents and the envelope had not been marked as confidential and had in fact been opened. I find this to be utterly disgusting and a complete violation of confidentiality. If Investec is so casual about such prviate information one can only wonder what else they have distributed for the fun of it. Considering the ridiculous banking fees I think this is completely unacceptable</p>
