Poor response and follow up from Investec.

On the 1st of March 2024 I wrote about a terrible experience of my client whom is an Investec client. This matter got a taste of momentum, but then just died again and to date not resolved. Below a copy of the mail we wrote after Investec responded on the of March, but comms then went silent:

Good day, Appreciate the response from you, but sadly it is the PRIVATE BANKER which is not performing. I did not want to throw anyone under the bus, but since my conversation and follow up mail to the Private Banker yesterday at 16:00, we are still awaiting feedback/response and so is a valid response to the Conveyancing Attorney.

The issue is that the property evaluator provided feedback on the 5th of February, and the process stood lingering from there onwards. My phone call yesterday was a last resort, as the communication from the Transferring Attorney was also merely acknowledged, but no further feedback, response or progress.

The result from this non-performance and non-communication from INVESTEC, is that the INVESTEC Client will be put on Terms, and the transaction could be forfeited. The result is that the Investec client who already sold his property, is waiting for Investec's to appoint the Bond Attorney.

Investec's performance or rather non-performance is inexcusable and places your client in grave danger as he could end up on the street. The client is Nare Maapola and the Private Banker is Thabo Ledimo.
