Never trust a bank

Never trust a bank !!! This bank required my business partner to settle the full capital balance outstanding on her motor vehicle lease before they would release the NATIS documents to her. Confirmed by them in writing!! Not a problem - quite correct and justfied. She settled the loan, nearly R500 000 and after a week of requesting the documents they are not prepared to release the documents to her and we have now had to engage lawyers to take them to court. The Private Banker handling he matter is apologetic and cannot understand what bureacracy in Investec is allowing this !!! Must be a another Covid side effect ....!
