Investec - very far from 1 star in my experience since 2000

I have to write this short review, because this is my only place where i consistently get the part of their services i need and want great - to be great ! And if my priv banker does not always come back - then or now, im prepared to forgive Investec (and the banker)

It is about the people you talk to on the standard number - when they answer, how happy they are to hear from you, how is their command in English, and how you get the (false) feeling that they are rather buddies who always understand, than hating you (in the voice) and hating their job trolls !

And then it is their systems and the thought process around them.

I opened an account recently in "one of the big fours", and i have been in service hell ever since ! One other reason for the text here.

I would have given 5* here, only if Investec would let me/us buy forex in a forex account of theirs with 0 monthly maintenance fees, at 0 charge / transaction fees, and at a good - few - 10 cents up from XE rate, but i do not see this happening anytime soon.
