Investec Travel Insurance - Not the best

The free insurance offered by Investec is far below par compared to similar credit card packages with other banks. The only top up travel insurance they offer through Bryte Travel is excessive and overpriced.

If you do buy tickets with them you will most likely have to purchase additional insurance with a third party.

Two important aspects that are not covered are: lost/delayed baggage and additional costs due to travel delays.

They have indicated that they have no intention of reviewing this offering.

I have already discussed the matter with your team. The response was that Investec is happy with the insurance offering through Bryte Travel. Please let me know if you decide to review your free insurance offering. Until then it makes more sense for me to buy my travel tickets through a different bank.
